A leading Egyptian force in contracting & construction.
Founded 1985 — purely Egyptian capital, four decades delivering landmarks across the Republic.

Founded in Cairo. Owned in Egypt. Built to last.
Opal General Contracting Company was founded in Cairo in 1985, with purely Egyptian capital. Four decades on, the principle hasn't moved: a national contractor, building nationally.
The group now spans five companies — Opal Contracting alongside Agouza Wood, Agouza Construction, Opal Agricultural Reclamation, and Red Sea Ready Mix — so finishing, joinery, and concrete all run in-house.
The portfolio speaks plainly: the Al-Aly Al-Azim Mosque for five thousand worshippers, Ministry of Defense residential compounds in the New Administrative Capital, and today the NEST premium tower under Opal Real Estate Development.

Opal's chairman stays on the brief.
Amr Naguib has chaired Opal since 1985, and still reviews briefs himself. Alongside contracting, he runs four sister ventures — joinery, finishing, ready-mix concrete, and an Arabian-horse stud — tying Opal's work to industry and to the land it builds on.
True success is only achieved through adherence to professional values and ethics.
