About this project

Martyrs' Mosque is a landmark religious commission delivered in Egypt's New Administrative Capital — a city built from the ground up to serve as the nation's future seat of government and public life. Opal was contracted by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority to deliver a mosque of both spiritual and civic scale, accommodating 3,000 worshippers. The project required precise coordination of structural, MEP, and heritage-grade finishing works across the entire building envelope.
